Meggie Johnson is a Holistic Nutrition Consultant and the founder of Healthy Bee Nutrition. She holds a bachelors degree in Exercise Physiology and is a Certified Personal Trainer. Over the past 8 years Meggie has been gaining the knowledge and experience to help others find their healthiest and happiest self.
From personal experience she knows the impact nutrition and lifestyle factors have on the body and she is equipped with the knowledge to back it up. She believes everyone must embark on their own health journey as she feels that within health and wellness there is no "one size fits all" model. Her approach is to offer guidance, knowledge and understanding as clients embark on their own journey of health, recovery and healing.
From personal experience, she understands that the journey takes time, hard work and commitment. She has been on her own personal health journey for 3 years now and is amazed at the progress she has made. Not only has her eating habits changed but her general approach to life and understanding her body has grown fuller. She has a greater appreciation for food and where it comes from. She has a wiser understanding of her body and what things it needs to function optimally. Not only that but she feels like she has freed herself from the anxiety of food.
When Meggie first started her health journey she struggled with poor digestion, yeast overgrowth, and chronic overeating. She had a heavy history with antibiotics and felt a lot of pressure around her food choices and weight. Since then she has, what she likes to call, cleansed her pallet and freed her taste buds. She enjoys a wider range of foods that has allowed her to heal her body over time.
Throughout this process, she has learned that there is no magic pill or quick fix. The choices we make daily add up and can manifest into serious health issues. By adopting new lifestyle habits we can reverse the affects of poor choices and promote health and healing within the body. This process can only happen one step at a time and it takes effort and willingness to change. Meggie is not here to give you another diet, she is here to give you the education, guidance and support you need to make these changes and find your own attainable healthy lifestyle.
